Beginner's Guide to the Leading Technique
Beginner’s Guide to The Leading Method is a four-week class that meets every Thursday from 6pm-9pm.
In this class, we explore leading, the original stained glass method dating back to the late 11th century! We share everything we know about this historic art form and its traditional stained glass leading techniques, beginning from initial design to final fabrication. Completing this class will leave you with a proper foundational skill set capable of scaling, designing, and fabricating successful future projects.
You’ll select from a variety of unique hand-drawn patterns to create your own leaded panel. We’ll provide you with all of the tools and equipment needed and the instruction in how to safely and properly use them. No prior experience is necessary! You can take this as your first Stained Glass class or as a continuation after taking the Beginner’s Guide to the Tiffany Method Course.
Mostly, you’ll have fun, learn new skill and walk away with a handcrafted beautiful piece of original art.
