Make It & Break It: Intermediate Stained Glass & Fused Glass Class

Combine the art of glass fusing and stained glass construction in this six-week intermediate class.

Students will create their own stained glass sheets with fusible elements including frit, stringers, confetti and sheet glass and fuse it in the kiln. Students will then either create their own design or use one of our hand-drawn designs and cut, grind, foil and solder their unique glass sheet to create a special one-of-a-kind panel. Students can also create their own fusible elements like frit balls, discs or jewels to add extra depth and texture to their finished piece.

Tool use, kiln firing, materials and glass scraps are included, additional glass can be purchased as needed.

Classes meet on Tuesdays from 6:00pm-9:00pm
